[ANN] Lua 5.2.0 (final) now available

Luiz Henrique de Figueiredo
Lua 5.2.0 has been frozen and is now available at
        http://www.lua.org/ftp/lua-5.2.0.tar.gz

MD5 f1ea831f397214bae8a265995ab1a93e  -
SHA1 08f84c355cdd646f617f09cebea48bd832415829  -

Lua.org is experiencing connectivity problems and so the Lua web site
does not yet reflect this release. If you have trouble reaching lua.org,
you can get Lua 5.2.0 at
        http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/lua/ftp/lua-5.2.0.tar.gz

We thank everyone for their feedback during the development of Lua 5.2.0.
We look forward to working on Lua 5.3!

All feedback welcome. Thanks.

Congratulations for the release and thank you for your efforts!

Any ideas boiling in the cauldron for Lua 5.3? :-)

Is there something you'd really like to add and didn't make it into Lua
5.2 (just for wetting our appetite for the years to come :-)?

Cheers!

Congratulations on the release, I've been looking forward to this one
for a while!

The README file says that it was released on December 12, have you been
holding out on us? ;)

Grats!

Wouldn't it be a good idea now also to release 5.1.5 with the patches 1-11?

That was the date of the last release candidate, rc8,
which has been frozen to be the final release.

I agree and I look forward to using 5.2 for my next projects!
(apologies for not participating in testing, but my C compilers are far
too old to be relevant)
